Joe Manganiello is an imposing figure, bigger than Ben Affleck.

        Those weights are hype BS.

Rock and Cena both weigh an honest 230/240. Mang's and Affleck at peak, are 215.

I wish my peak was 215.

Interesting casting and character for the solo film. I don't necessarily think he'll be a villain in the classical sense as they may springboard him into his own film project. Now THAT will be some badass fight choreography!

He was in the running for Superman, so glad they came back around to him with a role. I like the casting.

Heck, he'd've made a really imposing Batman, as well...
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Something wrong with those pics. Hogan is suppose to be 6'8" yet he looks short in that photo. I'm guessing someone might be fudging with the numbers?

While pro wrestlers tend to be tall, no doubt, their heights are exaggerated.

                    Payton Manning and Hulk...

                    Kane and Vince Vaugh...

And while Hulk is taller than Stallone...Rocky 3 played Jedi mind games to make them really unevenly matched in height...

But here, Hulk is gigantic next to Stallone...

Did Hulk shrink and Stallone got taller? Some sort of depth of field film trickery?

The majority of wrestling boots have lifts in them. The small guys who can fly over ropes have springs in theirs.

Hogan was a true 6'4 - 6'5 in the 80's, and the boots added 2-3". He also lost an inch from the back surgeries and age. Ahnuld was at best 6'1 and is Cena. Nash is a true 6'8.

I'm in the same height, mass and age range as Affleck and Mangs. A close friend is carded pro bodybuilder whose 5'10 and weighs roughly the same. He looks like a tank and I look like a an ex-college player. Affleck may have been about 220 while in Batman mode, but it's not an everyday weight. If Mangs is near 240, as ripped as he is at 40, would mean he's on a massive cocktail, which is very possible. The body stress would be unbearable. I see a guy who eats like a Hollywood star, takes a ton of ped-supplements to shred and build testosterone and weighs around 220. 20lbs of more muscle is incredibly hard to put on, even for competitors.

But Affleck can easily weigh that much, if not more...but a different type of weight...
