Strangely there's another other female Kree character I never heard of, and she's called Una Rogg. So maybe Una 1 just hates her last name and never uses it?:

I thought Vell was a last name. His son was Genis Vell.

Genis Vell and Phyla Vell were the result of invitro by the Eternal clone Elysius created by Thanos from Sui San's dna. She was the mother of Eros and Thanos, murdered by Thanos when he wiped out most of Titan's Eternals. Elysius fell in love with Mar Vell and betrayed Thanos. When he died, she harvested his genetic material to create children with him.

Una Rogg, or Una Yon Rogg, is the daughter of Colonel Yon Rogg, who murdered Una and framed Mar Vell for it. This is a bit like how Kryptonian names are done, which makes me wonder if that is intentional.
