    Roger Corman’s Fantastic Four Documentary

Roger Corman's Fantastic Four movie may never have been officially released. But the movie about the movie will be. No VHS-to-VHS bootleg copies for this

This is one I just couldn't get behind, it did get released sorta and you can watch it on youtube now. Thing and Dr. Doom looked great compared to what we got in the movies. This movie fits in with the Marvel 70's Cinematic Universe.

      YAY!

FINALLY — I've been waiting for this to get a release for years!

Are you talking about the FF movie, or the 'making of' doc?

I just checked YouTube and there was link to the doc, but the file is basically blanked out.

I have had the movie before youtube existed and I have talked to Roger Corman about the movie years ago. I just cannot see what more there is on this than what most people know about the movie. Although if they have the cast appearance during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade then I would have to think about it.

The last Behind-The-Scenes movie based on the Superman Lives was good and was released on the movie channels.

Okay, cool. saw the FF movie way back too, on a bootleg VHS tape.

I'm kinda with you, I have a feeling this doc isn't going to be great, but I still want to see it. I've also been waiting for at least a couple of year, so maybe the anticipation built my need to see it a bit. I thought you were saying you saw the doc on YouTube, so that's why I asked.

I don't know... I think there's plenty for the cast to say. Imagine being paid to act in a movie no one was ever planning to release...and not being told about it? That's like getting paid to perform at a kids birthday party...and the party was already cancelled. I think it's a fascinating story. I'm looking forward to watching it. Mostly because despite the non-existent budget, that movie has its heart in the right place.

The problem is that happens more than you think. They got paid to do there job, it doesn't mean the movie gets released. There are movies, tv series - pilots that were filmed but were not shown for some reason or another. being in the media, I have seen some great shows/movies that should have gotten released but a few years latter somebody will take the idea and recycle it into another show or movie.

^True, but most of those films are derailed by one thing or another. They were supposed to be released, however. Very few of them were NEVER intended for release...despite what they were telling the cast and most of the crew.
