Blank Cover variants-do you get commissions done on them?

Many modern comics publishers do blank variants for first issues and other books. I rarely buy variants, but I like these because I usually get artists at shows to do sketches/commissions on them so that I have unique pieces for my collections and displays. I was wondering if anyone else does these and if so, what do you have?

I got three done this past weekend at the Ohio Toy & Comics show by a local artist who has done some industry worked named Justin Wasson...

A Ming the Merciless on the cove rof a fairly recent Flash Gordon #1 published by Dynamite...

a Space Ghost done on a Future Quest #1 blank variant from DC...

and for my wife's upcoming birthday gift-she is a fan of the classic Bronze Age Neal Adams Green Arrow look, a Green Arrow on theWe Can Be Heroes BEnefit variant of Green Arrow form a couple of years back...

I have a few older ones too, I need to dig out pics for, so another post will follow soon.

If you have had any of these done, I'd love to see what you got.

My one pet peeves about the blank cover books is that they mention the artists/writers in the book on the "Blank" cover and they put their logos or call letters right in the blank area where the art would go. I have a friend that can't stand bar codes on the books because it disrupts the art. I agree with him on that and think that bar codes should be on the back of a comic or in the case of the blank covers...the cover that the blank is on top of should have all the pertinent information about the book. Here's a thread I started about a FANTASTIC Jerry Ordway original art blank cover that was on ebay a month ago:

A Wonder Woman sketch on another We Can Be Heroes blank variant done by local artist Brian Lattimer...

A Thanos sketch done on a Thanos Rising blank variant by Rick Deschesne I had done at Origins Game Fair a couple of years back...

and a Sabrina the Teen Age Witch as the Scarlet Witch done on an Uncanny Avengers #1 blank variant by Archie artist Dan Parent at Gem City COmic COn a couple of years back...

I have other con sketches and such, but these are the 6 blank cover commissions I have had done so far. I have other blank variant covers waiting for the right opportunity to be done.
