    Haters all of you...lol
I'm taking CONAN for the win.
I like Tarzan and he can wrestle with monkeys but I mean Conan rips the jaws of gorillas and giant apes.
By the way I've seen tarzans tiny little knife I'd go with the sword or battle axe for the win.

This is not remotely close in my opinion....Conan destroys the pretty rich British nobleman...easy day at the office for the rugged Barbarian.

          ^THIS.

"Crom! Never have I seen such a little knife! Conan will have a lusty wench on his arm and drink ale from your empty skull before nightfall ape man! Perhaps I'll use that little knife of yours to pick the meat scraps from my teeth!"

Conan. He pushed the Wheel of Pain for like a decade, right? Countless man-to-man battles, Tarzan doesn't have that kind of training. Hand to hand or knife vs knife, the barbarian would win. And remember, in the books Conan is an intelligent man, not a mindless muscleman. He knows strategy, being a seasoned warrior.

Tarzan by far. He would have Conan squeezed by a boa constrictor while his faithful companion chimp, N'Kima, plays bunching bag on Conan's nose.

                      Please...gentlemen.

Conan has killed every type of wild, gigantic, mutant, mythical creature there is. He is not even gonna be slowed down by a few chimps, elephants or a boa constrictor.

Need I remind you he once killed a snake as big as the one who nearly took out King Kong? Yeah, that's how much of a badass Conan is.

                      The monkey man is TOAST.

Tarzan's been to Pelucidar and Mars, he's killed plenty of dinosaurs and monsters. Not to mention boatloads of barbarians....

So I think those credentials are kind of a wash.

Was this an alternate universe Tarzan world where humans and dinosaurs co existed? Or did he time traveled 65 million years into the past?

It was set in Pullicidar, ERB's fictional world that was the setting of "At the Earth's Core" and later, he did the first cross over by having Tarzan visit.

It's amazing how Hollywood turned such a great character into a jungle simpleton and that's all the public seems to know. The books are fantastic.
