    Wonder Woman Rebirth

I enjoyed Greg Rucka's run on the title a few years ago and happy to see him return.

    Preview here:

I'm a fan of incoming artist Liam Sharp, and Frank Cho covers? I'll check it out.

You scared me there for a moment. I thought that maybe this came out already and I missed it. I don't have a pull sheet anymore with any comic shop and I don't want to miss this when it comes out. The other is the Super Woman book coming out with Phil Jimenez art.

always thought Liam Sharp was hugely underrated. Loved his Marvel UK stuff back in the day, particularly Death's Head II.

      preview art looks amazing.

Wow, those preview pages ARE nice. Great to see an artist who still has a grasp of basic, human anatomy and who isn't afraid of LOTS of detail! I don't think I've seen that much background work since the Perez heydays.
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Nice. Kind of halfway between Bissete and Bolland in the 80s/90s. Now, if they just wouldn't be afraid to make the colors pop a bit more . . .

I was just thinking the same thing. With that said, I think Laura Martin is a brilliant colourist, particularly her work on Planetary. I think Liam Sharp's artwork is definitely a candidate for an artist edition. His detail is mind-blowing, and deserves to be seen in a separate black and white collected edition.

Picked up the Wonder Woman Rebirth #1. Haven't read it yet...but the art was really nice. I ended up picking up the variant cover because it was nicer than the regular cover.

Rucka's my favorite writer, I'm waiting for the trade. How about that big fuss of Cho quitting because he felt that Rucka always censored his art? I really like Cho's cheescake art, but I blame the editor who matched this pair together. Rucka's a feminist writer and no doubt he won't tell his side of the story to the public, as a matter of professionalism, but I gather he had certain control/power/say in his contract this time around what with his unfortunate and abrupt termination from the last time he wrote the title.
