Netflix Daredevil season 2

Well I just finished watching the second season of the Netflix's Daredevil and it really did a great job. The way the stories interwove was really nice. I did like the fact that by the end of the season Daredevil, Elektra, and Punisher all have there costumes and ready for there next season. I really hope that in season 3 we get Bullseye. I would love for them to introduced Kyle Richmond a.k.a. Nighthawk, since he first started out as a Daredevil villain. Since they just introduced another Squadron member Aida on Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Finished watching Season 2 last night. I really liked the first half of the season and the final episodes. My complaints about the rest of the season (although minor and most likely tied directly to my own personal levels of patience/impatience) are basically in regard to Matt engaging in a seemingly never-ending stream of consistent bad decisions. That, and Ninjas, Ninjas, Ninjas! Damn that got old fast...glad it's basically played out and that Season 3 will take us on a different journey. Thought Jon Bernthal did a pretty good job as Castle/The Punisher, and I really like Élodie Yung as Elektra.

Overall, I recommend diving in and enjoying it!

Finished up Season 2 over the holiday weekend and really enjoyed it. Some great, great stuff, and a really nice setup for season 3.

Matt did make some bad decisions, but they seemed more natural and organic, vs. the continuously bad decisions made by Barry in The Flash season 2. I know the two shows are night and day, but when I think of a season of out-of-nowhere bad decisions, I have to think of the Flash this season.

The cast of this show is nothing less than extraordinary. Everyone really does a wonderful job. The confrontation between Matt and Fisk was truly frightening.

I didn't mind the ninjas. I was just glad there wasn't a giant robot at the end to ruin it like The Wolverine.

I basically agree with your assessment, like I said I was speaking mostly from my own lack of patience and the irritations were minor. It was a little frustrating for me to see Matt push away everything good in his life, I really like the Matt/Foggy/Karen dynamic. But you're right, it resulted from the natural digression of him following his deep seated emotions for Elektra; and then there were all of the revelations regarding Stick and The Hand. So yes, much more organic than what we saw this year on Flash.

As for the ninjas...for me, it was like getting ants in the house (50 down/200 the next morning, 200 down/1000 the next morning, etc.). For Indy, it's snakes; for me it's ants.

The cast of this show is nothing less than extraordinary. Everyone really does a wonderful job. The confrontation between Matt and Fisk was truly frightening.

I completely agree and highly recommend this show to those who haven't taken the plunge yet.

I thought it was excellent.
Netflix is really hitting them out of the park so far.
As for "all them Ninjas," I never read much Daredevil... were there a lot of ninjas in his stories?
I look at it like they (Marvel/Netflix) are practicing for Iron Fist!

During Frank Miller's original run on the series (which I haven't read since I was a teenager), oh yeah, lots of ninja, with "The Hand" and all.

The second season was great, it's just that the finale was a bit anti-climatic, I was waiting for the Punisher to mow down a hundred ninja at the end instead of only a few. Probably due to budgetary reasons I'm guessing.

well there was that Stilt-Man armor in Gladiator's workshop. I'm hoping season 3 goes a different direction and doesn't deal with Elektra's resurrection for at least another season. Would really like to see them hold off on continuing the storyline and move on to other villains. Maybe propped up by Fisk to get DD.

And really looking forward to the Punisher series, Bernthal's Travis Bickle impression was perfect.
