Artwork in that shot looks pretty damn good. Looks pretty faithful to the source material and thank God they haven't Jim Lee-ified it like they've done with Scooby and the gang. Cool to see Space Ghost, Frankenstein, Jr., The Herculoids, and the Johnny Quest gang all in one shot. All they needed was the Blue Falcon to make it complete. Be sweet if they contracted Alex Ross to do a cover, too....
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Funny...when I saw this in an ad in one of DC's book this past weekend I thought at first that it was ironic because some of the characters in that shot look like they were done by the late Darwyn Cooke. What threw me was that I thought maybe it was a mash up of other artists. Anyway, that ad drew me in...but I'll have to thumb through the book to see if I want it.

Just looked at the link and it is a mash up...the stuff that looks like Cooke is Steve Rude. Other artists :

        COVER BY
Evan Shaner, Steve Rude, Bill Sienkiewicz, Joe Quinones , Aaron Lopresti

Cooke was involved. He was part of the original announcement. I think he did the bible.

          Art? Any ideas?

Rude, I had no idea. That surprised me as he hadn't mentioned it online.

Don't know anything about Evan Shaner, Joe Quinones or Aaron Lopresti. Rude and Sienkiewicz are the only two names I recognize. If I had to hazard a guess, I would lean towards Rude for Space Ghost and his crew. Sienkiewicz can be such a chameleon with his artistic styles, I'm not sure who he worked on, though it'd be really cool if he had done Frankenstein, Jr....

Evan Shaner is the artist on the book. The other guys just did variant covers...
