I admire you're near unwavering enthusiasm Hector. I also admire the fact that you are willing to concede it got the better of you.
I wish BvS had been everything you hoped it would be. I had no problems with Adams as Lois, and loved what we saw of Wonder Woman. I liked that Bruce/Batman acted as more of a detective, and I loved Irons as Alfred.
But that's about it. As time passes, the more this movie makes me....not angry, but sad. Sad that the characters have been dragged through this mud. I just wish someone would push Snyder away and hose them off.

I find it ironic that BvS is best summed up by one of it's own lines of dialogue.
"Don't give me a jar of pee and tell me it's granny's sweet ice tea."
I really do know how you feel though Hector. It's always disheartening to see characters you hold sacred get destroyed in the hands of other people. Marvel's movies have so far been great for me, but the comics have gotten so bad they're one of the reasons I sold off my collection. The Marvel I grew up loving is gone, never to return and I've just accepted it and moved on. I never thought in a million years the very company in charge of my favorite characters of all time could make me completely lose interest in those same characters.
I will give DC major credit here...at least they embrace their classic properties and include them in their current universe. If you don't like BvS you can pop in Adam West, or Filmation Batman, or Superfriends. There's Batman and Wonder Woman TV comics. Marvel flat out refuses to even acknowledge their history. No Hulk TV comics. No classic Nick Hammond Spider-Man or classic cartoon DVD's...nothing. If it's not Marvel NOW it doesn't exist.
That's why I quit Marvel. I hope they love their new fanbase cause they sure as heck lost their old one.Comment

Same applies to my Reeve 1 & 2 Supes flicks...sigpicComment

Like you, Hector, I enjoy BvS each day better than I do the next day.
That said: I liked BvS as a disjointed vital DC project that I'll re-watch just about as much as I re-watch MoS---- which is: Not much. It's not a very engaging film if you're not a theatre surrounded by DC fans.
Of course it's stacked character roster and it's DC universe plot set-ups insist that BvS is a different animal than MoS, and as a hardcore DCU fan, I have to try to enjoy BvS where I can enjoy it. Otherwise it's more difficult to enjoy the DCEU (or whatever they're calling it) as it grows onward.
I thought Force Awakens was very cohesive and very fun and very impressive overall at being what it needed to be--- thank goodness. I can stand behind the "overall" quality of TFA---- BvS? No way."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

^Honest question: Was you enjoyment in the details for the second viewing, or more appreciation for Wonder Woman?
I'm asking because I think I know your tastes a bit, but also because I find the Nolan bat-trilogy very rough going in repeat viewings.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment
