    Captain America: Civil War...early buzz...

Seems that Spidey and Black Panther steal the show...

Check out the first reactions to Captain America: Civil War, after the Marvel blockbuster started screening for fans and critics earlier this month.

Can't wait to see Spidey with the '67 animated eyes! Of course at this stage he might remind me more of Deadpool with those expressions. This will be a fun movie.

      New Clip from Civil War:

There’s plenty of big names in this clip, including Black Panther putting his claws into Cap’s shield.

BOOM! That clip rocked! It's great to see Cap and The Falcon working together just like in the good old days! Looks like the Russo Bros. are going to really knock it out of the ballpark with this one. I loved WINTER SOLDIER (as well as the numerous episodes of COMMUNITY that they directed) and this film looks like, despite the addition of more characters and super heroic effects, it was cut from the same cloth as WS. These guys may have the best grasp of comic characters since Favreau directed the first IRON MAN. The only two things I'm worried about in regards to it are 1.) since "Age of Ultron" had such a mixed reaction and was not the money-making behemoth the The Avengers was, will the public have any sort of a sour taste left over that could poison the well, so to speak and 2.) the more I see of this, the more serious the tone and the circumstances surrounding it seem to be (but they STILL manage to keep it from being the dark downer the BvS evidently is) and I'm just wondering how they are going to realistically (or as realistic as one can be with a comic-book based film) introduce the character of Spider-Man into this maelstrom. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to love finally seeing ol' webhead meet up with these guys, but I don't want his appearance to cause the film to veer into territory that won't match up with the rest of the film.

Apparently it's more serious than the trailers let on, but in a CW melodrama sense, not BvS. I'm guessing it's Stark as RDJ seemed morose emo in the first trailer.

Just a hunch - a total, complete guess - but I think Cap takes a dirtnap. The absence of any discussion about the ending reminds me of the early BvS word and how it all implied the movie stopped right after the Doomsday fight. Same thing with Civil War; no references past the airport fight. Too many characters with inconclusive storylines to roll credits at that point. I'm also under the impression they did a poor man's version of the Masters of Evil by dropping the super-villains aspect and turning the cliched MCU "scheming evil white guy" plural.

Spider-Man, more than just a cameo...

I read Peter Parker is going to get 10 minutes of screen time...and Spidey 20 minutes, for a total of one good half hour of your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

That's quite a lot of good screen time for a reboot character in an ensemble superhero cast.

              Great to hear!

Yes, it will be great to see Spidey show up with his fellow Merry Marvel characters----as long as he's not completely portrayed as Tony Stark's lapdog. Plus----Black Panther!! Now that's the s**t right there as far as I'm concerned!
