Your take on what's going to happen on the actual Bats v Supes fight....SPOILERS???

My own take of the epic fight...could be spoilers, could be bullshlat, we shall see in under a month, lol...

This little synopsis is based on trailers, online rumors, Miller's Dark Knight novel, my own take, etc.

You never know, some of the following (or maybe all) may turn out to be true, or its all hogwash, who the heck knows.

But just in case you don't want any hints, surprises, speculation, theories, etc...walk away, lol.

    Possible potential SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!

    AGAIN...

****SPOILERS*** MAYBE, MAYBE NOT...BUT SPOILER WARNING NEVERTHELESS*****

    Okay...

Superman intimidates Batman in the first encounter, messes up his Batmobile, warns him about the bat being dead, to bury it, then flys off. The second fight is pretty epic...Superman is throwing armored Batman all over the place like a rag doll...until Bats creates a smoke screen to distract Supes...then shoots a projectile...Superman catches it like nothing...but it turns out to be a kryptonite pellet that lodges into his skin...at first, Superman is unaware of this, as he proceeds to strike Batman...that's when Batman stops his blow, Superman is shocked and surprised. He has no clue what's going on, because he still doesn't know anything about kryptonite, Lex Luthor is the one who discovers it, and gives some to Batman, as both have an uneasy alliance to rid of Superman. Then both Batman and Superman pummel each other...despite weakened by kryptonite, Superman is still very formidable...and is actually starting to beat armored Batman down. Superman then rips off Batman's chest plate and his armored cowl...Batman seems defenseless. Then when Superman is about to finish him off, he himself backs off, rethinks what he's doing, deep inside he's a super decent nice guy, he doesn't want to hurt Batman...he pulls back...and in that instant...Batman takes advantage of Superman's hesitation...and reveals for the first time, kryptonite laced gauntlets...he pummels Superman into unconsciousness. Fight over, Batman wins. He then takes him to the Batcave...where he imprisons the man of steel. While trying to decide what to do with Supes...and while absent...Alfred frees Superman, as he from the very start, believes Superman is good, not evil. Then the rest is history...an alliance is formed to combat Doomsday...with the help of the rest of the JL...Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Cyborg...and perhaps even Green Lantern.

    How does that sound?

***Spoiler free response *** Cool synopsis Hector. I've read so much and seen so much footage from the trailers, it's hard to trust the context suggested. Trailers so often manipulate moments that play out quite different on film. I expect the fight sequences to be impressive and I'm eager to see the Wayne/Batman treatment. Heard some weird parts on that as well, but you can't really take what you read as fact, so I'm letting this film come to me on it's own terms (like I did with Deadpool).

As I've stated, the marketing has been something of a mess. Ultimately it's my fandom for Batman that has me up to see this. Had this been a standalone Superman film, I would have waited to see it on DVD. At the eleventh hour we're still trying to piece together exactly what this movie is. My expectation (and hope) is this movie has been grossly undersold and the real movie will knock my socks off. I'll see it opening weekend and deliver my review soon after. When it comes to Batman I tend to be a big kid, so I might be an easier sell than some depending on how much screen time he gets. I don't mind different iterations of this character because the concept has proven to be incredibly flexible. So from that perspective, I'm probably more predisposed to like this movie. Where I'm utterly in the dark is what they do with the rest of the film. My hope is Snyder doesn't get lost in the tentacles of endless gritty and depressing subplots that he forgets the kids who come to these films. That doesn't mean he has to "dumb it down". Just don't let it choke on social messaging that starves off the superhero experience. This is Batman vs. Superman. I hope Snyder embraces the comic spirit of that title.
