Comic book speculators heads are about to explode...

I can see it now...the new so called comic book collectors, more like wall street that is investing in collectibles, heads are about to explode. They now have to:

    A) figure out all the characters that are going to be in the movies and

    B) find each and every first appearance.

It's going to be fun and very financially rewarding

"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
    The beauty that surrounds them
    Isn't it a pity".

well, when you subtract what we already know as far as who's in, all the cinematic Avengers and Guardians, that number is cut down more than a bit. And most of them already fetch decent prices for first appearances and such. If they throw in a few like Speedball or Nova, they might get the speculators frothing at the mouth.

Nova and Adam Warlock making an appearance would be a safe bet.

Dr. Strange, Capt. Marvel (Carol Danvers) and Spidey are probably shoe ins. I don't really think there will be a repeat of Groot-mania with this movie. I'd bet its mostly well established Marvels that are already high priced at their first appearances. Hope they can manage to get the FF in there, too.

I would think they are going to include everyone they've currently used, right?
How much screen time will each character get anyway? Assuming Iron Man, Thor, Spidey, Hulk, & Cap get the most, and non cosmic heroes like Black Widow & Hawkeye are relegated to basically cameos?
Ditto the Shield & Netflix cast if they include them. Or Sif & Warriors Three. Might mean they are on screen for only minutes, or standing in a group shot. Or in cells like Howard The Duck was. Not sure tgere is too many characters left that are still cheap. Nova, Warlock, Pip the Troll? Quasar? Future Guardians of the Galaxy like Vance Astro and Martinex? Lady Thor to confuse moviegoers that don't read comics? Super Skrull?

I'm guessing Death would be a sure bet since Thanos has the hots for her.

There's still a lot of unused Avengers like Wonderman, Tigra, Spider-Woman, She-Hulk, Mantis, etc.

We've seen the prices spike, but then demand settles down soon afterwards.

I mean is anyone still looking for Big Hero Six after that initial spike in value before and after the movie came out? Still finding these in quarter/dollar bin overstock, and I don't really imagine anyone paying twenty bucks a pop or whatever it was they were asking for around the time of the movie. Particularly when they find out Baymax looks nothing like his animated counterpart.

Everyone was also clamouring for The Collector appearances, Gamora, Drax. Is the Mignola Rocket Raccoon mini still in demand after the spike following the film? those were pretty much easy finds in the cheap bins prior to his surge in popularity. Howard the Duck had a spike following his cameo, but will there be sustained demand if they don't actually do a Howard the Duck film?
