Good to know.I should trust these guys. Zack Snyder has left me jaded.

In Barry's defense, I offer this. If this were my sister, I'd beg my family to move to the south.

Now c'mon...Joe just gave Wally that yard sale refrigerator! Doesn't that count for anything?

Yes, Joe is definitely not father of the year candidate material, that's a given. Neither the brains of the year candidate (Barry would be immediately eliminated from contention as well, lol).

He also dismissed Wells trying to convince him to tell Barry to leave the Zoom business alone...that Zoom's strength is going after family members...but nooooooooooooooo, Joe didn't wanna hear about it. And what happened? Zoom does exactly what Wells was warning about...he kidnaps Wally, lol. What a monumental moron, lol....

My wish? That Zoom kills Wally right in front of Joe...and Wells doing this...

    I can only dream...

Worst of all, Parent of the Year Joe seems totally ok whenever it gets brought up. In a normal world he should slap Barry across the head and yell "She's your sister duma$$! I never want to hear that again or we're going to the dr. and get you straightened out!"

Gotham, my favorite comic book based TV show...but it's not perfect either (although the Hugo Strange plot took it up a notch now), so don't take my posts here as just an excuse to make fun of the Flash, a show I like...but it's good to point out the silliness...it's good for the mind and soul...

If they could just step up the writing a bit and put better supporting characters around these two.
You hit the nail on the head here...agreed. Although I do like Flash more, at least it's fun (via Cisco, lol). Supergirl is just cringe worthy to me...and pretty humorless in comparison.

I think season 1 was much stronger. This season started out strong, but it's really starting to unravel toward the end, it seems. I hope they are all pulling a fast one (pun) on us, but I kind of doubt it.

I wonder if the creative team isn't just stretched too thin at this point, running 4 shows with a huge cast of characters all at once.

    ^Yeah, it works there.

I think if they had dialed back the connection. Had Iris live with her mother for the most part, so Barry is living with Joe, and occasionally sees Iris as a kid. But they were a family unit. Period. For him to have romantic feelings for her is just...again...ewww.

Why WASN'T Barry's trip to see Supergirl referenced? If Barry could make the trip there why did he need Cisco to open a portal to Earth-2? I swear even by comic book standards the "science" displayed on this show sometimes is simply wonky.
It could only work at the opening of this episode, because Wells fixes the doo-hickey thing so it will fit behind Barry's chest symbol afterwards. When Barry asked how long he was gone, maybe that's the only nod they were allowed to give? I kind of doubt it, but it seems weird that they didn't plug it more. It also sucks that their timing was so off on the episode schedules.

I kept waiting for him to say something about it, but nothing.
