Otto had the look, Sanders was more ruthless. Wallach was ok, but you could tell he was aping Preminger.

Sanders, by far. Preminger has the iconic look we remember, but he's really hammy. Sanders fits in with season one where there was actually some true drama. His Freeze is a tragic, almost Bond-villain like figure.

Otto. For a show that relied on look and over the top personality, he wins. Wild!!!

Preminger looks great, but egad he cannot act. Most strained attempt at a catchphrase, ever. I love everything about Sanders, including the first-season production values. Wallach is great, hammy fun--he's underrated IMO; it's one of my favorite episodes. IMO Wallach is doing what Preminger tried to do.

I'd choose Sanders. It would have been interesting to see him return in season two in the updated make-up costume. I never miss him in anything on TCM; he's a great character actor IMO and dominates any scene he's in. E2Chris nails it, I think.

It's weird, because I love Otto in Stalag 17. But Batman66 isn't Billy Wilder... Sanders plays a Germanic Freeze and Otto is the follow-up trick casting, which ironically falls flat. Makes me think of another truly Teutonic, truly awful Freeze: Arnold.

^Just saw Sanders in "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir". He played a very charming cad!

George Sanders, played the character very well and believable, gotta love that box contraption he carried around
to make area temps warm and cold, he was more sinester like a Bond villain as mentioned, plus he was a very fine
actor. Preminger had the best look but his acting was bland, but did okay, Wallach was about the same and the story line was the silliest of the three, of course by that time the show was going down hill. I will admit though I would have
liked to see Mr. Freeze return for season 3 along with Bookworm and Hatter, would have been a lot better than
some of the newer criminals they used in the third season.

I prefer George Sanders. He actually seemed threatening in a way the other two never did.

I like Sanders the best, but Otto comes in second.

Of course, I love Arnold as Mr. Freeze also.

As a kid it was definitely the Joker. He was almost scary to me as a little boy. I loved anything that scared me. But as an adult I LOVE Victor Buono as King Tut. His dry humor is hysterical.

^ I agree about Buono, as I've matured I appreciate him more and more. He actually makes me laugh aloud as I re-watch Batman'66.

But, which Freeze do you like?
