Swamp Thing returns to his "roots"

Swamp Thing is back in an all new six issue series by Len Wein and Kelley Jones, and what a great, refreshing read! Issue #1 gets right into the action...there's nothing too deep here, just classic comic stuff with Swampy battling a monstrous zombie. The book was light, energetic, and most of all...FUN.

It felt like I was reading one of his 1970's adventures. Kelley Jones' art is very similar in tone to Berni Wrightson's...perfectly capturing that spooky look and feel of the original run. Best modern comic I've read in a long time...highly recommended for fans of old school comics. Check it out!
