I think the funniest part was when Doomsday is about to blast Bats...and he himself is reading a newspaper...looks like he's sitting on a toilet, not the Batmobile, I was rolling, lol...

I'll be curious to see the context in why Superman talks to him like that. Interesting.

Yeah---seems extremely out of character for Superman to issue forth words as cryptic as that. Not sure exactly why DC and Snyder seem determined to take him down such a dark path when Superman is supposed to be more of a beacon of hope that humanity can be better. In this scene, he seemed much more like Super-Punisher.

And I don't know if it's just because I know Affleck is under that cowl (or maybe it's that butt-chin), but the more I see of this, the more I'm able to "see" Affleck's face through the cowl. Maybe it's the same scenario that George Clooney ran into when he played Batman; the more popular/well known the celebrity is, the harder it is for the cowl to disguise them. Still think it would've looked cooler if you couldn't see Bat's eyes. It's sort of a Batman trademark and it's part of what makes him so cool/creepy because you don't really know what's going on behind that cowl.

Yeah, I'm a tad disappointed in Supes here.. He comes across as a bully in this scene. He's more brooding than Batman. Talking about Batman, while his voice is ace...his lower face looks bloated, almost like a fat Batman. The cowl does not "hug" his face quite right.

But I still can't wait to see it...

Do you think with Supes incredible vision he'll notice the Wayne cheek mole and put two and two together or is the world greatest detective just as lost with Clark's clever disguise? No matter how many of these get made, it's amazing how much disbelief we subconsciously suspend for the most obvious conceptual flaws. I think that's part of what makes it fun. More or less we have to be kids to buy into it.

Reminds me of Bale in Batman Begins. The guy had 2% body fat, but somehow all of that fat was squeezed up into his cheeks by that cowl.

In the very first (and only, to my knowledge) animated Superman/Batman movie, Bruce used his detecting capabilities to discern that Clark Kent and Superman were one and the same (something any normal person could likely do unless you're "galactically stupid" as Lois was referred to in LOIS AND CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN). Supes just used his X-Ray vision to see who was under the Bat cowl. I'm sure that in the upcoming movie, if it's general knowledge that Superman has X-Ray vision, Bruce will likely find some way of lining his cowl with lead so Supes can't see through it...

The subject you touched on about the actor's faces being "squeezed" by the cowl has been an irritant to me ever since Keaton first donned the cowl in '89. Whomever the costume and/or production designers are on big budget, Hollywood Batman movies, they all make the same error of having the bottom opening of the cowl far too small and constricted. It's a wonder that The Batman can even open his mouth since his jaw movement is so restricted by these things. Ironically enough, the last time the cowl opening was the proper size (IMHO) was in the BATMAN TV series.

It never thought about Superman having fingerprints, he was infact alien.
