Looks like it could be pretty good. This is a crossover that seems like a no-brainer.
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.
Didn't notice it until just now, but I guess one of the perils of rendering Tarzan, especially a Tarzan with long, dark hair, is that he has a tendency to look a lot like another infamous bare-chested character---Conan. Or maybe it's that Conan looks like Tarzan since Tarzan came first (I think; please feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken)...

This would all be worthwhile for me if they got Joe Jusko to do a cover or three.
in the most ideal of worlds, Frank Cho would do interiors. Not likely though given Cho's other projects.
Man, that parrot has the catbird seat, if ya know what I mean!

Tarzan beat out Conan by 20 years, and ERB really was a big influence on REH. Here's some trivia: in Marvel's Conan comic, Conan actually "meets Tarzan" in issues 61-63. The catch is that Tarzan's named Amra and was raised by lions. In fact, instead of the golden lion sidekick Jad-Bal-Ja, he has Shulo, a black lion.
