Having visited the re-opened Frank Frazetta Museum a couple of years back and chatted with Frazetta Jr. This really makes me kind of sad that so many Frazetta pieces are heading into private collections rather than being available to view by the public as was intended by Frazetta and his wife when they set up the Museum. I guess you can't blame them though, given that the art is worth millions and millions. Folks really should drop by the Museum (it's about an hour from NYC).

Yeah, I've been debating on picking up that catalog. It costs a hundred bucks but it's supposed to be a really nice presentation, a nice big hardcover book. The one bad thing is that it censored out the X-rated artwork that is included in the auction. Winiewicz briefly posted the uncensored artwork on his blog and it was um, eye opening. (speaking of his blog, he shares a lot of great stories of his visits with Frank, very interesting read for Frazetta fans)

And yeah, Ed and I stopped by the Frazetta museum last year and it was fantastic!
