One of the best series DC ever put out...up until the Crisis put the whole series into the crapper. Having your entire book turned inside out and then Roy Thomas scrambling to substitute characters like Miss America for Wonder Woman was heart breaking to read for Golden Age fans.

Great series. Issues 36 and 37 are still my favourites, with the Superman/Captain Marvel confrontation.

I would have never thought that the highlights of this great group of characters would have occurred 30 plus years ago. Johns had some great stories but didnt cover everyone like this. Makes me more than a little sad.
