My fan fiction theory about Peanuts:

Spike is really Snoopy's peyote dealer which he uses to fuel creativity for his experimental novels. The WWI delusions are a side-effect.

It definitely feels really wrong to see Grown-ups running around the animated Peanuts universe. Especially ones that don't talk in that gibberish speak.

When I first saw Rerun in a cartoon, I had to look him up too and I was surprised at how old the character was.

Not my favorite character, as he sometimes feels like a Linus clone. He has grown on me a bit -- i like the bike scenes and his Snoopy interactions -- but he will never feel Classic to me.

So, when does the Jellybean Jones thread start?
