    Power Man & Iron Fist

    Marvel aficionados,

Kind of want to fill in some gaps in my Bronze Age era collection.

Looking for recommendations for your favorite issues, runs, etc of Power Man & Iron Fist.

    Thanks in advance!

Strongly recommend the first 16 issues of the original run. You can get it in beautiful reprints through Marvel's Masterworks.

There are new Epic Collections of both Luke Cage and Iron Fist. These cover a lot of ground, in color at a relatively low price:

Forgive my ignorance; did Luke Cage/Power Man have a long solo line run?

I am more familiar with the Iron Fist team-up line.

Issues 1 - 16 were entitled "Luke Cage - Hero for Hire". With Issue #17 it switched to "Power Man". And by issue #50 it became "Power Man and Iron Fist". It's total run was 125 issues.

Iron Fist had solo runs in Marvel Premiere & the black and white magazine Deadly Hands of Kung Fu. He had his own comic then that ran 15 issues, most of which can be had easily except for #14, which is the first appearance of Sabre-Tooth. That one is pricey, but it's been reprinted a few times.
