I cannot wait. I have the original script and it was very good, so to see the comic book series as a TV show is just WOW.

I am not familiar with the comic but the trailer they showed last night has me wanting to tune in. looks really interesting

from the trailer, I don't see any indication that Jesse has the power of "The Word". I'm sure that the show will be a toned down version of the extremes shown in the comic.

this will take getting used to... in my mind Jesse Custer has always been Jason Patrick, Cassidy is Robert Carlyle, and Tulip is Bridgette Fonda. They are all too old of course now.









don't know if they will have Arseface, or if he's been cast, but to me Giovanni Ribisi under a boatload of prosthetics would have been great.

Nowadays? Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad (Jesse Pinkman).



And given that Clint Eastwood would be a longshot for the Saint of Killers, why not Walter White, Bryan Cranston in that role? I'm sure he'd have a blast with that character.

This must have been brewing for a while...wasn't this talked about as a series since 2013? I thought it was already a series and I missed it because it may have been on a cable channel I don't get. Am I wrong about how long this series has been talked about?

Just saw the teaser last night. I will give it a watch, but I am a bit conflicted to have given up Constantine and then have this arrive.

first it was to be a movie

then an HBO tv series

now AMC picked it up and is going to a season out of it.

Well it was just announced that after the pilot of Preacher there will be a talking Preacher (much like the Talking Dead) but it will only be two episode (the second at the season ender).
