Now that we know that -- spoiler alert -- Hank Henshaw is actually Martian Manhunter, TV Line has a scoop about how DC's Mars mythology will play out on the show. According to the site, episode 11 of "Supergirl" will feature the White Martians.

“We have a visitor from another planet who’s a White Martian,” actor David Harewood revealed to the site. “There are two Martian species -- a Green Martian species and a White Martian species -- and the White Martians, in our story, are responsible for the death of the whole of the Green Martians.”

I do hope that we will get to see Miss Martain/M'gann M'orzz.

Also, does it seem to anyone else that this was used to pitch Supergirl?

Cat has it figured out until she sees "Supergirl" and Kara next to each other. "Supergirl" will come complete with super strength, flight, and "laser" vision. The one giveaway will be that this Maid of Steel's laser vision will be red instead of blue, thanks to "Hank Henshaw."

I would concur on that. Human For A Day...my favorite ep this season. Last night was close to it.

Nope, Superman and Supergirl are related through their fathers, not their mothers. So there's no relationship between Kal-El and Astra other than it's his aunt's (Alura's) sister...

Good episode. Not as good as last week, but plenty of good stuff. We should have seen this Chairman of the Board in an earlier episode. It would have played better. Wasn't that guy on Herman's Head?

I caught Henshaw's line about Superman. Clearly, they've met. Interesting...

Suddenly Henshaw is all chummy talky too. He mentions knowing Superman.
A great episode though. If they keep up the action and tone down the drama it'll keep getting better.

Now they just have to make sure to keep "Henshaw" stocked in OREOS and it'll all be good for him!

I already pretty well had it figured out too, but it was great to finally see, and whole reveal was handled awesomely.

The show is getting better every episode. Was super excited when Henshaw revealed himself!
I'd be happy to see him show up on the Flash. Maybe that's the way to tie the series together, crossover sone of the supporting heroes & villains instead of the stars. Get Firestorm or The Atom onto Supergirl. Or have her fight Weather Wizard or Mark Hamill's Trickster. Then send Jonn or Red Tornado to Central City.
