At Super Hero High, iconic Super Heroes like Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Bumblebee, Poison Ivy, and Katana navigate all the twists and turns of high school. United by friendship, the DC Super Hero Girls empower kids to shine with confidence and courage, especially while they combat those overwhelming, exciting, and awesomely awkward moments of growing up.



This series is Mattel and DC Comics attempt to capture the girl audience that they have forgot about and since they are loosing the rights to Disney Princess line they had to come out with something. DC/Mattel is planning on going way out on this that will include Dolls, Action Figures, clothes, school supplies and more. To be truthful it is about time.

One my site I will be updating every week about this fun cartoon that really does not follow any comic book lore. In episode 4 we have Crazy Quilt as a teacher! I will be working on updating the bios with the four episodes that have aired and keep updating it. I for one like the series. Its a fun idea (yeah I watch Monster High also) and I like to id all the characters, and in the first episode there were 50 characters.

The DC Super Hero Girls line is about to expand even further. The initiative, which was launched in April, already includes an animated series and an announced toy line debuting in spring 2016. DC has now announced that a new graphic novel will be part of the DC Super Hero Girls line.

The OGN will be titled "DC Super Hero Girls: Finals Crisis" and will feature a story written by Shea Fontana with art from Yancey Labat. Monica Kubina and Janice Chiang round out the creative team as colorist and letterer, respectively. While plot details about the story remain to be revealed, DC did announce that the book will go on sale on July 6, 2016 in comic book stores, ahead of a wide release in all book stores on July 12.

The announcement was paired with the release of the latest short in the "DC Super Hero Girls" animated series, which focuses on Poison Ivy and her heroic good deeds. (1)

Episode 8: Designing Disaster

Is the girl with the freeze powers Icemaiden? I can't imagine Mattel would use Killer Frost. It's a little confusing with the inclusion of some villainesses, but I suppose the premise is that they turn to crime sometime after graduation.

It is really hard to tell and I had to make the call. Since they included Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Cheetah, Poison Ivy and Ravager in it and since Killer Frost will showing up in the CW Flash series I am calling the character Killer Frost until they say something else.

The DC Super Hero Girls website just does not help in giving everybody a quick bio and there are some characters even I do not know who they are.
