^Yeah...I don't need to have Barry with Iris. They did a 180 with Iris and saved her from the fate of Lana Lang. I like the character now, and the actress is charming. But, I still can't get past the ick factor of her being Barry's "sister". I mean Patty referred to Joe as being Barry's "dad'. That just ain't right!

And I live in Kentucky!

The actress playing Iris is hot...but I find her annoying (yeah, I know, I keep mentioning this, lol).

The Star Labs scientist chick is not as hot...but I find her super pleasant and charming.

...and Patty, well...she's both hot and adorable...so she's my favorite female character right now, lol.

But even if Iris was charming...as you said, she's still Barry's "sister", yeah, obviously not biological...but adopted siblings getting it on is still creepy...ha...

And I just develop a bigger and bigger fanboy crush on Patty every time I see her! That Grant Gustin is one lucky *******!! LOL!!

I also think the actress who plays Patty is hot as heck too...when I first saw her...the first thing that I instantly thought...hey...she could've made a nice Supergirl as well...

Let me ratchet this idea up one more level of fanboy cool . . . Zoom would be Barry (Gustin) from the parallel earth gone bad and Henry Allen (Shipp) from that world shows up in Shipp's old Flash costume, explaining how he was the Flash on that world and his son Barry took up the mantle but was somehow corrupted, then Barry gets to team up with his dad and we get a moment close to seeing Barry and Wally together in the comics.

Won't happen, as I'm guessing Shipp is Zoom (his eyes and build struck me that way last night), but that would be something to see . . .

This episode was season finale worthy! WOW! Very Knightfall-esque. In the the comics, Bane even took Batman into downtown Gotham and dumped his body, kind of like Zoom parading Barry's body around town.

I read a theory that Shipp IS Zoom...but not how you think. The theory was Zoom was unmasked, and when they saw Shipp's face, Barry thought it was his dad. Cisco corrects him and says he's the Earth-Two Henry Allen. Then Jay or Wells corrects THEM and says no....he's a parallel world version of Barry Allen....meaning Barry from the OLD TV SERIES!!!

This theory would make both popular guesses work (he's Henry/he's Barry), plus bring Shipp back as HIS Barry Allen, somehow gone to the dark side.

I read this over at the Back Issue Facebook page, and it blew my fanboy mind.

This is very similar to Batman vs. Bane( Knightfall) comic even down to the paralysis.
Zoom also has some of Spiderman's villan Venom maybe an alien symbiote costume.
I don't think Zoom is Earth 2 Barry ,Eddie, or Wells because is he is thicker in frame
probably Henry Allen .I like the idea that he was an alternate Earth Flash that
turned evil and want's revenge on other speedsters .

I think everyone was expecting Linda to die, and the Flash gang to feel awful for dragging her into all of this. They pulled a nice bait and switch with this one.

Wow is right, my wife and I were both blown away by last night's episode. We were not expecting Barry to win in his first confrontation with Zoom but we were not expecting that thorough beatdown leaving Barry paralyzed. Looking forward to next Tuesday fo sho.

It would be quite epic if that theory proves to be the direction they're going with on Zoom.

I wholly agree, monitor, Zoom is one bad mutha f****! His appearance is so totally evil and cool at the same time. Kinda makes the big bad in THE FORCE AWAKENS pale in comparison. It will be interesting to see just who's under that mask, but I hope they take their time with that reveal. We know he's not Wells under the mask (unless he's Wells from yet another Earth), and I don't know if he'd be Barry's dad or even Barry himself (seems a little predictable). But---could he be Eddie Thawne of Earth 2? Perhaps he had an accident similar to Earth 1's Barry and he decided to take the dark path instead of the light one.

Kind of cool to hear that there's an Arrow on Earth 2, too. Could be paving the way for a mega-crossover event between The Flash and Arrow.
