Considering "Legends" is going to be based around time travel, I can't help but feel that the Cortexin reference is intentional and not incidental.

Loved this episode. I squealed like a little kid on Christmss morning when we got the glimps of Gorilla City. However, my two year old was very worried about Grodd. It probably doesn't help that I always refer to him as Curious Grodd and The Man in the Yellow Suit.

Great episode. I am glad they didn't drag out Barry's funk over losing to Zoom, nothing like a pep talk from Henry Allen. I spent almost every commercial break explaining who Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl is. Looking forward to the crossovers in two weeks.

I'm surprised Wells didn't try and jump into that portal to get back to Earth 2. Interesting set up for Hawk Woman. Loving it!

What a great episode. These guys continue to astound, giving us things from the comics we never thought we'd see, but in new ways that don't violate the feel of the show.

Noticed the use of the drug "Cortexin" by Grodd in tonight's episode...that's the drug that gives intelligence to the animals of Kamandi's future earth. Love to see that particular crossover on the show!

The show is a big hit for the CW and it's no surprise considering it's the only show we watch as a family. Loved it this week, they're really building Zoom up to be a complete monster.

One thing is for sure... Zoom's mask is deliberately hiding someone we would otherwise likely be able to identity if we saw the nose and mouth portion. So it's going to be a great revelation when they get to that moment. Poor Barry! What a beat down he took. But that was done so well. Even my wife was on the edge of her seat. Outside of my wife watching Days religiously, this is the only show we DVR and watch every single week with great anticipation. The writing and acting is just excellent. It really hits all the right buttons and my wife is not even a comic book fan.

^There's also an Elseworlds annual where Wall is crippled:

And Barry was crippled in the original Flashpoint mini-series :
