The bomb solution was a little much even for this show and it's comic sci-fi, but it was fun. Hamill is great, and I wish he got more to do. I like Patty, so I'm dreading what's coming up next.

I really enjoyed this episode mostly because of Hamill. He hammed it up so well I just smiled every time he was on the screen. I just kept seeing his Joker from the Animated Series because he pretty much went there not only vocally but in facial gestures as well. This man NEEDS to be a villain in Star Wars! But I digress. Overall I liked this episode. It got a little sorted with the unending subplots, but I liked how Barry handled his sadness and his conflict with Wells. It was good to see that maturation process in him. And I'm glad the writers are evolving his maturity level as the show moves along. The only thing I've disliked thus far in the last couple of shows is the shameless product endorsements. One time is a nice wink, but two weeks in a row is getting a bit in your face.

All in all, a fairly decent Fall Finale. But, it seemed like the setups for future story lines were getting in the way episode's primary plot. Captain Cold getting sprung from Iron Heights just in time for LoT, Spivet's dance along that line of justice and vengeance, Jay and Caitlin, Wells and Zoom plus Joe, Iris and Wally. Those were a lot of plot points to pull together while handling the Weather Wizard/Trickster team up.

Hamil's Trickster is a joy to watch, hope to see more of him.

I love the fact that the CW is promoting there own DC Direct Flash/Green Arrow action figures on the show.

Yeah, Snart's appearance was kind of a waste on this episode, but I've gotten to the point that I really enjoy how snarky his Captain Cold is. Yeah, Weather Wizard went down way too easily, but I get the impression he was only there to bring out more of Patty's backstory. And anytime we can see Hamill's Trickster, I enjoy it. Very much Central City's answer to The Joker.

At some point there's gonna be an awful lot of speedsters running around Central City...Barry, Wally, Jesse Quick, Jay, Zoom...
Cold served no purpose tonight other than to remind us he's no hero before Legends starts. Weather Wizard was defeated too quickly (you can create acid rain, tornados, and lightning and your weapon of choice against Flash is an iceball?). And though he was a lot of fun again, why was Trickster in this?
Still don't get the whole magnetic presents thing...and don't the portals go somewhere? Did they just blowup a part of Earth2?
Also can't help but think Wally is being introduced as Joe's son to distance Barry as his "son", therefore making the Barry/Iris romance less creepy. I really like the Patty character, but I'm still not convinced it's gonna last past this season.

Patty used "The Boot" version 2. It was last seen in season one to stop Reverse Flash but it didn't work well. I guess Cisco is earning his paycheck from the Central City P.D. on the Super-Power Task Force tech guru.

Pretty decent mid-season wrap up, although I thought that the dialogue at the end between Zoom and Wells was a little anti-climactic. I thought maybe they might give us a hint at who is behind that mask, but none as of yet.

I also thought Barry was going to wind up revealing his identity to Patty after she locked him down (which, hello, where did THAT come from?) and was getting ready to shoot Weather Wizard. I'm glad he didn't, but, from the previews for the next episode it looks like life's not going to be beer and skittles for Barry and Patty, either.

And, am I the only one who thought the "weather wand" bore a resemblance to an oversized sonic screwdriver?

The show reminded me of the JLA-JSA team-ups when I was a kid. They were a lot of fun. We're they the most tightly written episodes? No, but I've read a lot of fun comics that relied on the same type of stuff. Fun show. Cool to see the Johns' Hawks origin, which is my favorite Hackman origin. I've got no real complaints.

I'm amazed at how close they are adhering to Geoff Johns (and David Goyer and James Robinson's) incarnation of the Hawks. I'm feeling like they would be the most likely characters to spin off into their own series following Legends of Tomorrow.

Next episode's Flash looks like a lot of fun. Trickster, Captain Cold and Heat Wave team-up! It's a Mark Hamill Christmas.
