I've always wanted to see King Tut and Egghead (the best two non-comic book villains created for the series) show up in the four color world of Gotham!

I would have perfered egghead. king tut was ok comic relief. I did like the villian, but do they need to go back? instread of moving forward? its as I said with the current rip storyline, been done already move forward evolve the character.
I hope they get the king tut character right and not make him into a joker type rip off.

I can see serious interpretations of both King Tut and Egghead...they don't necessarily have to be handled as comic relief. King Tut is sort of a tragic character in that he has a split personality caused by bumps on the head. Egghead could be portrayed as the brilliant criminal mind that he is and down-play all of the egg-centric puns.

Marvel already has an Egghead. Don't need another one with the same name.

That hasn't stopped anyone before with character names like Scarecrow, Nightshade, Enchantress, Captain Marvel, Changeling, Guardian, Sandman, Tarantula, The Wizard, Jack O'Lantern, Power Man, Tempest and many others who've been both heroes and villains at Marvel and DC. And even though he has never been in the comic, I bet the DC version of Egghead is 10 times more recognizable than Hank Pym's old foe.

Hmmm, makes me think that The Bat will be lightening up a bit. maybe Mr. Grayson will be taking up the mantle.

                      Hmmmm....

Isn't King Tut gonna seem like a variation of the Maxie Zeus character nowadays?

Wasn't Maxie Zeus always "in character" though? He didn't bounce back and forth like Professor William Omaha McElroy and his King Tut ID. Zeus was more of a crime boss type too from what I recall.

Jose Luis Garcia Lopez is handling the art on Tut's 1st appearance (in Batman Confidential)...the blurb in the latest DC Nation page refers to him as the Boy King...hopefully he's an adult now though.
