Batman '66 meets The Man From UNCLE

Batman will crossover with The Man from U.N.C.L.E. in a six-issue miniseries that starts in December, by the creative team of Jeff Parker and David Hahn.

"'Batman '66' is locked in a period of time, and who he meets is locked into that time period," DC Co-Publisher Dan Didio said at Comic-Con International in San Diego this past summer, when discussing the crossover with "Steel & Peel" from the British "Avengers" show.

    Here's the solicitation information:

Two 1960s television icons cross paths for a groovy, globe-spanning adventure in this one-of-a-kind miniseries. The deadly organization known as T.H.R.U.S.H. has a new twist in their plans for world conquest—they’re recruiting some of Gotham City’s most infamous villains! Agents Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin bring this information to the one man who knows everything about these new enemies: Batman. Before you can say “Open channel D,” the Dynamic Duo and the Men from U.N.C.L.E. are jetting off to Europe to thwart the schemes of this deadly criminal cartel.

Great news, glad the 66 stuff is doing so well that we get stuff like this. They really need to cross over with Trek.

If they introduced a '66 version of Professor Carter Nichols they could feasibly then encounter people out of the '66 time frame, like The Lone Ranger, George Reeves Superman, James West....

I'm really behind on my '66 series. But I will definitely get this one! I really love the Green Hornet series.

I hate to admit I've never seen an episode of U.N.C.L.E. It was just never aired in my neck of the woods. But I'm a mark for all things Batman '66, so I'm in!

Green Hornet, Steed & Mrs. Peel, now UNCLE...this is so great!
Hopefully the Girl from Uncle will also be in this, maybe teamed with Batgirl?

The Prof Nichols idea rocks...love to see the Wild Wild West or Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea ( Seaview vs. That Penguin sub!).

I will say that the Batman '66 series has had top notch art throughout. Mike Allred and Reuben Procipio come to mind. DC could easily have ruined this with cartoons art or such. Its been really good though. They hit the likenesses of the actors without being caricatures or overly realistic.

What? I hadn't heard this... Why? If the book is doing good enough for spinoff series?
More DC nonsense. ..well, guess they need room for more stuff like Perez.

BATMAN ‘66 comes to a close as we unleash cover artist Michael Allred on the entire issue! Mobs of villains arrive in Gotham City for what appears to be a full-blown Criminal Convention. But one bad guy is not happy with how he’s being treated, and decides to tip off Batman and Robin. Will even this valuable bit of information be enough to help the Dynamic Duo overcome the overwhelming odds?
