    Yep, Subbie's been around since 1939; Aquaman made his first appearance in 1941.

        I'm sure Universal will likely stay on top in 2015---at least until December when the new STAR WARS hits, but with it debuting so late in the year, UNIVERSAL will likely still be able to claim financial ownership of the 2015 box office.

                BTW, that's the biggest Killer Whale I've ever seen, lol.

                Perhaps the comic book writers should've watched a couple of National Geographics special on Orcas...

                                            A great comic version would be Subby drawn by Bill Everett and Aquaman drawn by Ramona Fradon or Nick Cardy! What the hell, let's put George Perez on backgrounds to round it out. All in their prime.
                                            (yes, I know that Everett and Cardy are no longer with us, but we're speculating, right?)

                                                Yeah, I'd love to see a crossover/team-up.
                                                Maybe an interdimensional menace could threaten both the Marvel and DC incarnations of Atlantis... Namor and Aquaman would team up to overcome the threat whilst also battling an alliance between Tiger Shark and Black Manta.
