I liked it at the time but never gave it a second thought after that.

Neither of the Avenger movies had me raving all that much.

That said: Unlike the first Avengers film, at least the plot of this one felt fresh to me--- largely due to the 2 Artificial Intelligence characters.

The "assembling" element of the first film combined with some of the more nuanced elements of the second woulda had me more engaged if that was an actual film.

I'm with you. It was decent, but it became an overcrowded mess by the end.

Overall, I enjoyed the movie, but I still prefer the first one by a fairly wide margin.

Watched the deleted scenes last night. A couple are really cool, like the Norn Cave sequence. Apparently that scene was cut largely due to poor audience reaction during test screenings.

Having finally seen this I have to agree with the criticism of the film. Too much cgi robot action, makes me lose interest quick. Scarlett Witch was meh, Quicksilver was good but wasn't given much to work with script wise. Vision was well done visually and the actor played him very well.
I enjoyed the Klaw cameo and hopefully he makes in appearance in Civil War or AOS. I thought the main Avengers Cap, Ironman, thor needed to play off each other more but they didn't get much downtime with all the robot fighting. Its a very forgettable film but not terrible. I'd give it a 6/10.

I must admit to feeling a bit of Marvel fatigue during this one...I actually liked Ant-Man much more. I preferred the smaller, self contained story. Just as in the comics...give me a stand alone story any day over a gigantic convoluted crossover.

They gave Serkis a look pretty close to the character's appearance before he became converted into solidified sound.

He was the seller in the Wakanda deal. (the neck beard is his characterist) Ultron took off his arm.

I am looking forward to seeing Ant-man for the very reasons mentioned. Sounds like a fun movie that doesn't get too grandiose.
Plus I like when the lesser known heroes get a film.

                            Tough crowd.

I enjoyed it big time. The 3D Blu Ray is great.

I think the mob mentality made this the poster child for the "super hero fatigue" syndrome everyone kept talking about leading up to it. It's a fine movie, and more thoughtful than the first. Less fun, but more thoughtful, and thought-provoking.

I loved it. It was just like what I had in my head when I read comics when I was 11. It had a ton of action but I never felt like they over did it with the choppy editing that hurts my brain, that opening scene was simply amazing. And if we're going to pick on things like "a robot with a moving mouth" then they should just stop making comic book movies.
