Green Lantern: Hal Jordan Secret Origin (AGAIN!)

Looks like in the current issues of Green Lantern, they are retelling Hal Jordan's secret origin of Green Lantern.

Cripes. What is this like the forth time in ten years we have seen a Hal Jordan secret origin reboot?

I hope they leave out the drunk part. Too Tony Stark. It had been done. It didn't strike me as in character. Sure Hal is fearless, and reckless to a point, but it just didn't seem right. Seemed like they added it to "edge him up" a bit.

The drunk part was "Emerald Dawn:II" correct? I think DC has publicly stated that that portion of the origin has been thrown to the curb.
