    Arrow-Verse: Constantine is coming!!

    From Comicbook.com

Matt Ryan will reprise his role as John Constantine in the upcoming season of Arrow, The CW announced today at the Television Critics Association. "It's a great one-shot episode," mentioned Mark Pedowitz during the CW's presentation.

Constantine, which ran for 13 episodes on NBC last season, became a cult favorite with a huge social media presence and a significant "Save our show" effort when it was announced that NBC wasn't ordering a back nine, or later a second season.

The CW was considered a "last hope" for Constantine to get a second-season pickup before the cast and crew's contracts lapsed earlier this summer. In the time since, fans have continued to press Arrow producers on the possibility of a crossover, and producers continue to say, essentially, that they hope they can make it happen but have no promises for anyone.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim had previously said that Constantine was considered as a potential "expert" they could have called upon during Season Three to give Oliver Queen the lowdown on the Lazarus Pit and other seemingly-mystical elements of Ra's al Ghul's mythology. While that never happened, magic and mysticism are themes that will be explored to a greater extent in Season Four.

Arrow returns with new episodes starting October 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT Wednesdays on The CW.
This is a good thing. This means the Constantine is in the Arrow-verse. Now he is scheduled for one episode right now. If ratings for this are good and enough people contact the CW about wanting to see more of Constantine maby we could see more down the road.

I still hope that CW would pick up Constantine for a summer show so that we can have DCTVU all year round beating out Marvel before they decided to expand there TV presence.

Constantine will be in the 5th episode:

Haunted: John Constantine is a weather worn exorcist and expert on the supernatural and the occult. He is a detective, magician, and a hunter of demons, and will provide critical support to Oliver (Stephen Amell) when arrows aren't enough.

It would be cool if the Spectre storyline from Constantine were picked up and continued in one of the CW shows.

Yeah, we were teased an awful lot with the foreshadowing of Spectre. I have to imagine this Arrow crossover will spur CW to resurrect Constantine under the care of one of their production teams.

Awesome news, I really liked Constantine! He had the Dr. Fate helmet in his lair, that would be awesome if he crossed over to The Flash and the Earth-2 stuff they have going!

I never watched the show, but I think it is great they are incorporating him into the CW universe, high hopes they do the same with Supergirl

Even better, add him to the Legends of Tomorrow group if he can't get a show again.

Or, they could just green-light a Justice League Dark series and have him headline it.

Fantastic news! And yeah, if the Spectre storyline could somehow be continued down the road, that would be great too!

I have said that Justice League Dark would be better as a tv series than a movie. I would even take a short season.
