Well, after seeing this, I feel a LOT better about this picture. I can see some rays of sunlight shining through in one of those patented "it's always darkest before the dawn" scenarios.

Looks like they really are dealing with the over-the-top destruction from MoS directly, and head-on. I now understand Bruce Wayne's motivation to want to bring down Superman. Who can really blame him?

I still don't like Superman cast in this light, but, this seems to be the story of when the "true" Superman emerges. I got hints of that here. There are some great Superman rescue moments shown in this trailer.

Affleck looks incredibly intense as Bruce Wayne. I'm starting to buy what he's selling...

After that head-scratching first trailer, I'm glad this one made it out pretty soon afterwards. I'm now looking forward to seeing this. Still a bit guarded, but will now be in the theater seat for more than just a sense of "brand loyalty" or something like that.

It looks like a lot of loud, dramatic spectacle, but not a lot of fun. Sorry. It looks exactly like why I didn't like Man of Steel.

Ma Kent's a jerk with her "Oh you don't owe these people anything, Clark". Sod that! If my kitty is stuck in a tree, Kal owes me a rescue, dang it!

This trailer did nothing to change my opinion since the first teaser.

I'm glad that some people will be happy, and I'm overjoyed for Hector :D, but this ain't fer me.

Good lord, it would be so EASY to do a Superfriends movie using the Guardians of the Galaxy template. That's the movie everybody at the office watercooler really wants to see... and their children too. The money would roll in. Why not???

I do wonder if the storyline of Superman being held accountable for all his collateral damage and destruction was in the plans the whole time, or if that was scripted in response to fan reaction to Man of Steel (sort of like Jar Jar's diminished roles in Episodes II and III).

Superman being held accountable for all his collateral damage and destruction...reminds me of Marvel. There going to do the same thing in Captain America: Civil War.

Bat - it's the opposite. Marvel changed Cap3 to Civil Way once MOS2 became BvS.

Writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely promise to pull elements from the existing Marvel Comics for this continuation of the hit franchise.

"There are some that aren't gonna start and other ones that -- I mean there's a couple we're playing with right now that we really want to take elements from. Which we'll not reveal. All I'm saying is psychotic 1950s Cap."
They wanted to do the USAgent/Flagsmasher storyline from the 80's, which tied into IM3's Super Patriot. When WB panicked after MOS didn't beat Avengers or TDK box office, they went straight to Batman. Fiege jumped to Civil War. WB then added Wonder Woman plus the JLA intro. Marvel said screw it and went for Spidey, and now everyone else minus Thor. We're now atGiant-Man, Rulk v Grey Hulk, and Doomsday-Bizarro.

This will be peak superhero. It's going to be too much, too close, too similar. People will go in droves, but the marketing and ancillaries are going to flood the market for months. The similarities will lead to parody Iron-Bat v Super Cap mashups and fatigue will really hit.

This is not counting all the ABC/Netflix/CW shows, which will be airing, plus marketing, for several months beforehand. It's just too much.

...and it could all be moot if Star Wars somehow lives up to the hype. That's supposed to be restart the galactic sci-fi trend as per SDCC announcements like Buck Rogers.

I can't help but think 2016 for comic book movies may be similar to what the 1990's did for comic books in general. It's been a great ride but casual fan interest will fade eventually and this looks to be a prime opportunity to create fatigue.

"Over the weekend, Warner Bros. and DC dropped a new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which gave us some new footage from the upcoming blockbuster. One of those moments saw Ben Affleck’s Batman in a dusty suit and googles being taken down by a soldiers with Superman’s logo patched onto their uniforms. Many fans have speculated that this is from a dream sequence Bruce Wayne has about a world in which Superman has taken over Earth."

Really. I read back during the SW run she did. Makes more sense that she didn't.

That would be...not good. I assumed Supes had something Kryptonian stored away and Batman tracked the location.

Agreed, not good...kinda like the third horrible Twilight movie (okay, all of them were horrible, lol)..where the last battle scene, were everyone gets killed, was actually a dream sequence...or something lame like that, lol.

You might be right Hector...there's scene where Supes is walking through an underground bunker...and all the troops are bowing(or saluting?)him.
