Wow, what a line up! Wasn't Spidey supposed to be in this too, as his first appearance in the MCU, or was that just a rumour?

^^ It was a rumor floating after the title for this movie was revealed. Spidey was pretty pivotal to the comic story of the same name. the synopsis doesn't appear to be following that so, he might not be needed.

Spider is still in it, but the part hasn't been cast and Sony/Marvel still need to decide on a director. It's going to be its own huge announcement.

I wouldn't be surprised if the title of this film was titled Avengers Civil War overseas in some countries. Remember the first Captain America film was called First Avenger in some international releases.
