Don't get me wrong, I really loved some of Miller's stuff on DD, but then again there was some stuff that I hated, too. There are points in the artwork where you can almost see Miller losing interest in what he's doing because proportions, composition and storytelling are off. When he's good, he's REALLY good, but when he's not, he's a little meh for my tastes...

Totally agree! Take the TDKR for example...his art style is all over the place. The first book is my favorite. The first "full" shot you see of BATMAN is very Neal Adams-ish...but then it's all down hill from there. Batman gets bigger, bulky, fat and ugly...***??
