Easily the coolest thing I've read in a long time. Awesome idea.

I glossed over "feature film" before. So is this going to be in theaters, or a direct-to-video thing? I assumed the later, but it sounds theatrical.

I hope it lives up to our expectations. I wonder what type on animation will be used.

I'm surprised they hadn't thought of this sooner. I admit, I myself didn't think of it, but after reading Chris' post above---I was smacking my head going "Of course! I can't believe I hadn't thought about this with both West and Ward still alive and willing".

I say, they just commit a seasons worth of shows with the '66 thing. If B:TB&TB could last 3 seasons---this has got to have some wings to it.

Much more appropriate than getting Hamill involved. They need to go totally old school with this.
THAT said---I'd test Hamill for a "Gorshin" Riddler---THAT could jive really well, and it'd be nice to have Hamill involved---he really seems to bleed Batman.

I really hope they do something different with the animation style. Not Timmverse, but not the pseudo-anime modern style that most of the DC direct to video features use. Time to go old school, but with a fresh vibe.

^What if it's CGI? GOOD CGI, to look like comic versions of the actors. Not creepy, "real-life" CGI, but Pixar-type CGI?

I'd be down with Timmverse, but not the current anime-influenced tiny heads and long torsoed direct-to-DVD style.

Something different. Think Pop Art. Printing dots. Something new. I want it to look like nothing we've seen before.

I'm CGI'd out. Or at least traditional Toystoryhowtotrainyourdragonmonstersvsaliensshrek CGI. Do something different with computers. Something painterly.

Timmverse? If you're going to cite previous animation styles, B&TB was actually modelled after the intro to the '66 series from what I've heard.

^There was an influence for sure, no doubt. I hope this has it's own style, but I'd lean more toward Timmverse or B&B than the current very anime-influence look. It just won't work for this subject.

I think they should do the animation similar to Archer...I love the realistic look of that series.
