I'm intrigued--I like D'Onofrio, too--but have some reservations about this introductory outfit. I hope it's transitional as noted.

I'd be lying if I didn't mention that I'm aching to see how they handle Gunton's The Owl--my favorite DD foe.

I believe I read somewhere that it DOES share the same universe as THE AVENGERS, but it's a much darker, more dangerous corner of that universe and one in which you'll likely never see an IRON MAN or a THOR.
