I loved the Power Record Gorilla City. What was weird was the comic book art work were the apes wore those strange costumes.

^Yeah, as I said in the episode, I had the audio-only version of these stories on the Batman LP with the Man-Bat and Catwoman stories. When I saw those scans on Rob's blog, I was quite surprised to find the usually naked Gorillas of Gorilla City in clothing!

I think it was the POTA influence. In fact, I think that's the whole reason they did it! "Batman on The Planet of the Apes"!

I had audio only as well. Those are two of my favorites! I had no idea there was a comic to go with these stories.

I had both LPs of the Batman stories and the two Batman books with the 45's. The second LP with Man-Bat scared me with the shrieking Man-Bat, the echoing of the room as Batman told Robin about the Langstroms... All the stories are creepy in a way.

These albums define what Batman is to me. I prefer him as an occult horror character to the current one man street army.

Can't wait to check out the podcast!
