    Secret Invasion

I wasn't too sure about this series but gave it a crack anyway as I like the artist. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. There are some great reveals in there that had me thinking "no way". I haven't felt this excited by a comic since reading Kingdom Come when it was first released. I'm hankering for issue two already.

    Anyone else checked it out?

So it's just the 1st Issue right now ?
& Are they gonna do the "Civil War" type thing with it ? Where it's covered in every Marvel Book,.. & then a 6 issue series as well ?

Yeah, it's the usual tie-ins in certain books, mainly the Avengers related ones and an 8 issue run. It's got off with a bang with a great first issue, which is better than the whole Civel War run IMO.

I agree Surfsup, the whole civil war story line left me cold, I never saw the point of it it seemed to fly in the face of what I had always thought of as the essential elements of super hero comics, the secret is
dentiy so I never really bothered with it.

It wasn't too bad...I agree, already a more enjoyable read than Civil War....
