    Arrow-Verse: Spin-Off series Pt 2

    It seems more and more info is getting released for the next spin-off series:

    * January Television Critics Association press tour, The CW is developing a series that would spin off recurring characters from Arrow and The Flash as some sort of DC Comics “superhero team-up” hour, our sister site Deadline reports.

    * Arrow‘s Brandon Routh (who plays Ray/The A.T.O.M.) and Caity Lotz (formerly Sara/Canary) would star in the offshoot, as would The Flash‘s Wentworth Miller (Leonard Snart/Captain Cold) and Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein aka half of Firestorm).

    *The show would feature three “major” DC Comics characters that have never appeared on a TV series.

    * Arrow/Flash EPs Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim are, of course, behind the project, which could skip the traditional pilot process and get ordered straight to series.

    I am going out on a limb and saying the title will be The Brave & The Bold or DC Comics Presents: * & *. This makes sense they keep introducing more characters.

    If they were smart they'd go the anthology route and different characters each week and then maybe four times a season have crossovers/teamups. It would be like NBC's Amazing Stories. And yes, DC Comics Presents would be a great working title.
    I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

      When you think about it, it makes sense. At the rate they were going the CW would have had to become the DC TV Universe if every character got his own show. Now we can see Firestorm teamup with Atom, Birds of Prey show up.

      The big question is: three “major” DC Comics characters that have never appeared on a TV series

      Who would fit into the Arrowverse?

      * Jack Knight Starman
      * The Question
      * Richard Dragon: Kung-Fu Fighter
      * Captain Atom
      * Hardcase

        I can actually see a character like Black Lightning being one of them, though I think a name change would be appropriate. Not everyone who was affected by Wells machine has to be a villain.

          Richard Dragon and Hardcase hardly qualify as "major" DC characters. The Montoya Question is slated for Gotham eventually.

            Ted Kord couldn't appear on Arrow (they replaced him with Ray Palmer) because DC had "other plans for him." Could this be a part of those plans?

              So is Sara getting chucked in the Lazarus Pit?

                Why isn't Robbie Amell mentioned? How can you have Stein and no Ronnie?

                  Great suggestion, Scott. They could even use the old format from All Star Comics and Justice League comics with individual and or two-hero adventures leading to a larger team-up

                    Green Lantern is a major DC hero who has never appeared on a live-action show that was actually broadcast. I know it is probably wishful thinking, but I'd like to see him.

                        Kind of sounds like it could be a prequel series.

                          I think Booster Gold would fit in very well with the Arrow-verse. Also, what about Dick Grayson? It would be a way to have a Batman tie in without the bat?

                          What about Boston Brand? That could be a away to have a different guest star each week. Sort of like a Quantum Leap thing.
                          It's all good!

                            Going back through my website, I forgot that there was talk at a CW Deadman TV Series. It seems like Deadman could happen after all.

                            Also Booster Gold was in the works to be shown on Sy-Fy Channel and it was to take place in the Arrowverse. So another character that should get his chance after all.

                              Sounds cool and with the how well Arrow and Flash have been done, I have high hopes for it.
