Could DC TV Universe get a Superman?

Casting call went out for Supergirl:

Supergirl is seeking someone “5-foot-11 or taller,” “square-jawed” and wielding “a ripped physique” to serve as a body double for “a DC Comic Superhero.”

Usually this means the body-double will be used for distance shoots and never seen up close.

At least in the DC TV Universe they will state that Superman does exist.

Why don't they stunt cast Tom Welling or Dean Cain? that would be neat. especially if it's just for a cameo.

More than likely we're going to get a Superman like we got Batman on Birds of Prey. Quick cuts of a guy in costume. Maybe they'll get Tim Daly or George Newburn to provide the voice.

^I agree. He does have that Alyn vibe. He looks a bit like a Jerry Ordway Superman too, with that huge chin he has.
