Yeah, that Olsen thread went off the rails big time. I wasn't offended by racial casting, I was offended by the fact they described the character as salt of the earth and good looking. Jimmy Olsen is a damn goober. He's likeable but far from this cool persona they are trying to place on him. To me that's unacceptable. He could be an eskimo but he's still a AV geek.

The above sounds pretty awful and doesn't surprise me at all. There is no way this gets past a pilot episode. CBS does not need to be in the superhero business at all. If this goes forward I anxiously await watching the train wreck.
