^My only real gripe with the previous two films is Doom. Julian McMahon was a flavor-of-the-month casting choice, and the direction they went with for Doom just didn't work. Reed was written too weak-willed in the first film, but other than that, I felt like most of the cast worked.

It cracks me up how clueless they are. When "Thing" appears in the teaser, they say something like (paraphrasing), "YES, this is the part where people are going to be emailing it to each other and sporting boners basically. We just broke the internet, guys!" Ummm, no! Just no!

I hate when they want to "ground" the movies. You are making a comic book movie. Grown people fighting crime dressed up in outlandish outfits. Embrace it and stop trying to remake the comics that have existed for decades.

Johnny Storm being black is the leeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaasssttt of my worries. Where I agree with most here...is that it just doesn't feel like Marvel's Fantastic Four...it looks like a stand alone sci-fi movie...it almost has that Prometheus feel to it...like they are ready to fight Aliens or something. Maybe it should feature Sigourney Waever as Ripley, the 5th Fantastic member, lol.

And yes, what's up with those vents and tubes?

Should've been a sequel to Chronicle instead...Chronicle 2.

I liked the previous 2 FF movies, not perfect maybe but at least they were fun and got most of the stuff right. this new movie just looks awful. I will definitely not be seeing it in theaters. I will give a shot on TV when it gets to Netflix of one of the movie channels but I will not pre-buy it like I do every other superhero movie I did not get a chance to see in theaters

how are they explaining Sue and johnny being brother and sister in this? or are they changing that too?

Dr. Franklin Storm (you glimpse him in the trailer) is black, and the biological father of Johnny. Sue is Johnny's adopted sibling. At least this is what I read a couple months back..

Let's rewrite everything so the black community won't be upset. How about make a new hero or story. I will pass on this the same way I wouldn't take my daughter to see the Annie remake. But keep in mind when they do this kind of stuff to cater to one specific race you are making the people that have been loyal to the stories for years mad as hell.
