All Star Squadron. My favorite of the era. I hope this "Crisis" event that DC has planned will bring back the the All Stars/JSA. Rich Buckler and Jerry Ordway's run on the book is probably the best, or tied for the best, complimentary artist/inker teams. The others would probably be Layton and Austin in Iron Man and Byrne and Austin on X-Men.
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
        The beauty that surrounds them
        Isn't it a pity".

        - "Isn't It A Pity"

Batman starting at 232, Detective starting at 400.

The original Wrightson Swamp Thing. Kamandi. ONeill and Neal Adams on Green Lantern. Deadman.

(Big Neal Adams fan in case you can't tell!)

O'Neil/Adams on Batman titels (not really a "run" but spread out sporadically for several years)

              The Englehart/Rogers/Austin run on Detective.

The New Teen Titans by Wolfman and Perez, until George left the first time.

The short Captain America run by Stern/Byrne,

              Stern/Romita run on Amazing Spider-Man.

              DeFalco/Frenz run on ASM.

Gerry Conway/Don Newton/Gene Colan run on Batman and Detective.

I enjoyed all of All-Star Squadron, but that brief run where Ordway actually pencilled the title was magic. I kind of wish they'd never came up with Infinity, Inc. so he'd stayed on the book.

I loved Don Newton on Batman--one of the best Batman artists IMO. I truly miss him--it's heartbreaking to think he only did comics for ten years. I love his Marvel Family, too.

Some of those characters from back then--Nocturna, Mannikin, Dr. Death--should return.

Kamandi--how I enjoyed those stories! I cannot believe DC Animated hasn't produced a feature.

I feel Jim Aparro's run on Aquaman deserves a mention. He also got Batman right. Even though he unfairly had to follow Adams.

These are some great suggestions! Very impressed with this list. I've read most of these (often in collected form), but this gives me some other ideas of trade paperbacks to track down.
                      My Updated Want List:
                      Comic book original art
1970s Hulk or Spider-man metal garbage can
                      Custom Mego Nexus, Grendel

Have lots of comics and Marvel Legends figures for trades. Thanks!

                          Basically, yes, all of it.

Sure there are some lemons in the pile like Karate Kid but the Bronze Age is my favorite time period of comics.

Currently I am trying to buy some of the runs I missed. Just finished Luke Cage/Power Man and Iron Fist. Now to find the time to read it ...
