I like the treatment with the flies. That's pretty cool. I just don't know how far that idea can be stretched for a full film. Marvel continues to surprise me. I'll go see it and hope for the best. Marvel Studios has certainly earned that consideration.

So true. It's the casting choice that's messing with me right now. For me, Paul Rudd will always be that obsessed stalker from the 40 Year Old Virgin.

I think it will be a fun flick to watch, like GOTG I am not expecting much from it. It really needs to be tied in closely with Avengers AOU for max success, seeing as it is released 2 months after.

I got a kick out of the "cheesy name" reference, as I was always more partial to "Yellowjacket" as a name (and look) for this character---that said: This isn't Hank Pym. Apparently its a "second generation" type character ("Scott"). Not too common we see these in superhero movies. Should be.... interesting.

Also... what happened to that cool Ant-Man trailer from years back? Musta been fan-made and I didn't realize it. This new official trailer is lacking that "quick size change" action sequence stuff that made the older trailer so great.

I was nonplussed with Iron Man---but it was a big hit because it was a "cool movie".

Actually, taken on the Ant-Man character's own basis, technically, Ant-Man has a LOT more potential than "Batman Mach 2: Plus Iron!"

I enjoyed it as a teaser. I was surprised at the tone. They didn't really play off the comedy of the movie, other than the "huh" and "is it too late to change the name" lines. Preparing to watch it, I said to myself, "we better get a shot of him riding an ant."

I think Mike Douglas is Hank Pym. Paul Ruud is the "new" Ant man. should be interesting and I do Like ruud. he really plays the everyman part well
