Rom the Transformer Update

I think it is silly that Hasbro is trying to hang onto this name without the backstory. I would have loved to see Rom as a guest star in Guardians of the Galaxy with the potential of a spin-off movie. Instead it looks like we are going to get Rom the Transformer animated series.
