    Batman a Visual History

Did anyone pick up Batman A visual History? If so, what did you think?

I got it for Christmas. Same format as other visual histories. Only problem I have with it so far is the focus they put on characters like Black Lightning, Black Canary and Metamorpho as falling under the umbrella of "Batman Family". Their connection is not as strong as Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl etc. Considering how many titles, ongoing, miniseries, specials, et al over the years that Batman has appeared in they could have devoted space to that instead of what Geo-Force was doing on a given month...

Thanks Anthony. I'll probably go by Barnes and Noble and thumb through one before I make the purchase.

Cindy got a copy at the library and brought it home. I did like the fact that it covered the "forgotten" years of Batman history, post Englehart/Rogers and before Miller. Almost every Batman history just jumps from one to the other.
