Barry saves Nora, ends up powerless, sees how terrible the world became without superpowered beings, and tries to regain his powers. So who else would he go to except Harrison Wells? And in this reality Wells is still Wells.

^I think the later may be the case. If they stop Eobard Thawne from killing Nora Allen, he'd have no reason to kill Wells and take his place. Weird time paradoxes will ensue, of course.

My son picked up on why RF would want to stop Eddie from proposing to Iris: That would mess with his timeline. Iris herself said she wouldn't have agreed to a date with Eddie if Barry were up and awake, so Eobard/Wells has messed with his own timeline.

Yep. Either:

The Malcolm Merlyn deal where he is still a bad guy, and yet they find a way to overlook that because the good guy "needs to work with him".
Or, once you introduce time traveling Flash... maybe we get back the "real" Harrison Wells?

Last night's show felt eerily like a clip show, probably saving money for the big finale, Dr Who does this a lot.

Still, a big development in the Reverse Flash situation. I'm going to miss Harrison Wells as a character.

Iris is nice looking. I'd miss her. Of course, in the comics, she and RF have an unfortunate meeting. That could play out in the show at some point.

Iris is becoming extremely annoying, agreed.

Cisco grew on me though...at first I found him annoying as well...but as the series has progressed, he grew on me...I now find him quite likable...go figure, lol.

^^^Amen Chris! The one factor that has to remain in play here is how much does Barry seeing his future in effect change it? Reading that headline and story alone could alter the events that create crisis on infinite earths. This is a kicking show!

Lots of interesting developments last night, and we saw some of the scenes that we thought tied into the whole Wells/Reverse Flash thing that really didn't. Those crafty guys know how to cut trailers as well!

The crap has really hit the fan now. No going back. Looks like the next several episodes are full-speed (ahem) ahead toward the finale.
