That guy stole the movie. Just like the imaginary character's vibe, it felt like the whole movie stopped and went into "cool as all heck" mode, the whole theatre in awe (and hysterics), when his big scene began."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

Honestly, I've never really cared for Quicksilver, but that was pretty cool. This is going to sound like a jerk thing to say, but I don't mean it that way: he's still just a really fast guy, right? The reason I ask is that he seemed to almost step outside reality and act upon it in a way that seemed more than just trying to catch bullets before they hit their target. That was an awesome scene, though.Comment

The lighting in the commercial and the way it makes his silver hair look doesn't help either.
I did like that they gave a nod at least to Quicksilver being Magneto's son in the films (and the Scarlet Witch). Something they won't be able to do in Avengers.Comment

Mark Millar addresses that kind of thing beautifully in the third issue of his new series MPH. There is a moment when the speedsters ask themselves how they could be talking if they are moving faster than sound. Worth picking up for the laugh.

MPH is the name of the speedster in Astro City.
Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12
